Have you noticed all the burlap you're seeing in home decor? Well, there is a trick to cutting and sewing it.
1. Make a snip where you want to start your cut.
2. Find a thread beside the cut and start pulling that thread. In burlap it will be thick enough that this is not too hard to do.
4. After pulling the thread completely out, simply cut in the void that was left.
