This is where I was last Wednesday .It was breathtakingly beautiful and a little surreal. |
This is what I came home to. Color inspiration everywhere! Hummingbirds beside my patio. Flowers blooming in my garden. |
Today, I found myself working on a Christmas project. I wonder why?
I think your trip put you in a time warp!
ReplyDeleteI live in a time warp! LOL!! It's supposed to snow again...can you believe it?!?!?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! So many hummingbirds!
ReplyDeleteThis is nothing compared to how many are at the feeder usually this year. They get spooked when I go out to take their picture. I counted about 23 this morning. (Can't see the ones on the back of the feeders.) They drain these three feeders in a day and there is another one not in the picture! I've been through a 10 lb. bag of sugar in 2 weeks already! (I think that because of the drought, we don't have the wildflowers that we usually have for them to feed on. )
ReplyDeleteIt looks like the hummingbirds were in a holding pattern for a landing. I'm amazed when I'm lucky enough to have two hummers on the feeder at the same time. I know it's time to work on Christmas projects but I just can't get myself motivated in that direction.
ReplyDeleteI love hummingbirds and these are beautiful!!! I read your blog earlier today, but after you commented on my blog I had to sneak over to yours again and take the time to return the visit!! (FUN!) I really enjoy clicking around on your blog.
