Finished Scrap Quilt Top

I finished the quilt top made from the "Terrain" scrap blocks from my last post. I love the way it turned out! I used vintage sheets for the sashing and outer border, so the entire quilt is made from scraps and recycled fabric. It's so much fun to think that I have a quilt top where I formerly had a pile of scraps! I can't wait to get it quilted. This is the second scrap quilt I've made since Christmas. My scrap pile is still large, but I now have two quilts that (at least in my mind) cost me almost nothing! This could be addicting.

I'm not sure I'll ever use up all my fabrics, not even counting the scraps, but it sure is fun trying!

  7. When you posted the beautiful individual blocks for this quilt, I was not sure how it was going to come together. Your vision is fantastic. I love this quilt! Also, the fact that it is made from all reused and recycled materials makes it that much better. Thank you so very much for sharing.

  9. That's so pretty! And your fabric is so organized. You'd definitely be able to use it all -- just grab, sew something, and repeat over and over. :-)
