Spring at Last!

Can you believe it's already Spring? We haven't even had winter here in South Texas yet! (Well, it got down to 30 one night back in December.) It was 95 degrees here two days ago, but that is a record breaker. It is a nice 79 outside right now.
My flowers have been blooming for weeks now and my loquat trees are full of fruit that is slowly ripening. My roses have bloomed continuously since I planted them last spring.
The wall hanging above is one of my pattern designs. I often find myself inspired by the changing seasons, although they don't really change much around here
How is your spring starting out? Snow? Sunshine? Rain? (We certainly need some of that! Send it our way!)
Here's hoping you have a wonderful weekend!
Until next time.....     Bee Blessed!

  1. I think little reminders of the seasons are especially important here, where there isn't much seasonal variety. I change out my wallhanging quilts with the seasons, just to see the seasons change. enjoy the lovely day we're having. Remember it in August. Lane

  2. That is a wonderful quilt and I wish I could start planting, but it is snowing again.
Looks like spring is taken it's time around here.

  3. Beautiful wallhanging. I love the verse. Your weather is a lot like ours. We are high desert, mid 70`s during the day, nights about 50. Our wildflowers are just starting bloom. The Joshua trees have been in bloom a month. We had our last snow a little over a month ago. I always enjoy my visits here.

  5. Hi Linda. Mid Century bee-er catching up with things in blogland. We think we've been fortunate that the temps here have been near 60, but they say we're going to get snow Sat. Gotta love springtime in the Colorado. No flowers for me for another 2 months. At least the annuals I plant.

  9. Here in NH we just got 10" of snow a few days ago! It's in the 40's now so it is melting a bit. It's pretty but I long to see my spring flowers!
