A Supportive Group! Thank you!!!!

I received this in the mail today! Oh, my! How adorable! I certainly feel supported! Thank you all so much!
(As usual, our very efficient Mdm Samm even took pictures for me so I didn't have to lift a finger except to write this post! This was her own design, by the way!)

I will smile every time I enter my sewing room and see this on the wall. My sister gave me a mug once that said, "A sister is like a great bra. Supportive, makes me look good, never leaves me hanging and is always close to my heart." My online sisters are no exception and this just proves it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Along with the quilt came a sweet little Tammy Bag full of thread and needles.

Again, my heartfelt thanks go out to you all!

  5. I am happy to be a part of this to support you even far away from Sweden. And the quilt turned out so wonderful. When I told some of my quilting friends about the design, they didn´t think this could be a lovely quilt. I have shared the link to some of them so the could change their minds.
I love the design and I am going to make a small one for my sewing room.

  23. Linda, I have a little gift I'm sending since I missed the email to be a part of this quilt. I got your mailing address from another Quilter friend! I found Samm's email in my Social list of emails. If you have Gmail you know how they divide the emails into 3 sections and I hate it. I miss so many personal emails because they end up in the Social division. Anyhoo, I wanted you to know I SUPPORT YOU as well. I hope you are getting closer and closer to having life back to normal. My family had a house fire when I was 9 yrs old and the trauma of it is still in my memory!

  24. What a darling and special gift for you, Linda! I'm so happy you received this, and have something wonderful to hang on your sewing room wall. Honestly, I'm jealous of the mug your sister gave you, with that darling sentiment. I can only say that I wish all sisters were like that, as my own sister is not. We're as separate as two sisters can be. It's online sisters who mean the most. I'm very grateful for the technology that has allowed me to find so many "sisters" around the world. I am blessed!
